In December 1994, I was hit by a car suffering a massive head injury. I was airlifted to hospital by HEMS [helicopter] and stayed five months there, but recovered so well I was able to write an autobiographical account of my accident - a tale of my life, my death and my resurrection. Though I finished writing in 1997 it took 10 years to get round to finding a publisher, which I did in mid-August, 2007. Within three WEEKS they sent me a contract!
Flight of a Lifetime is a bloody good read and will make the reader laugh and cry at the same time. At the end of the day I wrote about my death and made it funny. The book is inspirational! It may not change the world, but I hope it will make people's perception of the world change. First and foremost it was written to cheer people up, but I hope it will also make people realise that the world we live in is not such a bad place and we should all just get along and stop fighting!
The book is published by Athena Press and will be available on Amazon.com or it can be ordered at any UK or US bookshop - hopefully before the end of July. The ISBN Number is 978 1 87478 307 2.
Hi Isis, yes, busy am I! My final final page proofs arrived on Friday so I am busy doing those. At least I have all week to do them now :) Life must go on though so I leave soon for my volunteering. Thanks for the info. I shall requsest a copy gets sent to Linda so that she can stock the book and maybe tell other bookstore owners that she probably knows :)
I'll also look into setting up a page on that site. Thanks :D
Lovely to hear from you. I believe you asked me if I knew some people here in Seattle that you do and sadly no I do not.
Are they members of the local pagan or wiccan community? for if so they will be known to at least one friend and teacher of mine, Leon Reed.
I understand what you are saying about yourself. Still it is a big thing to recover from and to share with others is a real gift so I am looking forward to reading your book. The information for the Quest Bookshop is just below. Linda Shields is the manager and my best friend. I will let her know about you and the book. Thanks. That would be very nice of you to send a copy of your book.

The following website is a huge website and it would be a good place to set up a page and communicate with people. You will find many different people there. A lot of people write and share their work. There are metaphysically inclined people and many not but I find they are looking at what I write about there. It would be great to see you on that website and it is a good place to get the word out about your book. I also give below the address to my page on that website. If you set up a page please come and let me know you are there!

I hope I can speak to you more sometime. Bet you are pretty busy though!
Phillip your story sounds amazing and I will get the book and bring it to the attention of the manager of the Quest Book Store here in Seattle, Washington. This shop is connected to the Theosophical Society and I know that your book will be quite a nice addition.
So you know I think I will add you to my hero's list and it is wonderful you are so clear about being your own hero and you should be! Love and joy to you and Bright Blessings,
Cynthia Isis Andersen
