About Me:: Ask away and I shall reveal all. Im Wiccan with Dark Humor, I study the ways of the Dark Moon as well. I have activly practiced all of my life but was initiated in 78. Here is my Bio from my coven page::::: I was born on Beltane (April 30th) 1965, in Colorado Springs. My mother was of the Celtic tradition as was her mother, who came over from Ireland during the potato famine . My grandmother was from Ulster Ireland and practiced Witta, and After my mothers death in 1998 I inherited the Alter stone which is a natural Geode with a quartz star in the middle. You can see it on my home page of http://Cauldroncat.com. When I was a child my mother taught me stories, and showed me bits and pieces, until my parents divorced. In 1980, I continued my studies, and belonged to a loose knit group that was located in Montverde Florida, while I went to school there from 1979 to 1984. For those of you in the South, you understand why most Wiccan people were underground. As you well know it is not tolerant of things non-Christian. There IS a reason why it is called "The Bible Belt" From 1984 I joined another Coven in Florida. From that point, I started delving deeply into Moon Magic, more specifically, the shadow aspects of the moon and it’s affect on individuals. The HpS of our little coven introduced me to a book by Demetra George called "Mysteries of the Dark Moon" I worked deeply with that book for a while, learning about the Dark moon Goddesses and the phases of the Dark moon and it taught me many things that a lot of people don't understand, and to this day are generally not understood. TryricheI have studied, and experimented with all I knew, and have formulated some of my own recipes and spells. In 1995, upon moving to Ft. Lauderdale I meet a group of Wiccans that had a touch of Fay in their circle. And it was with them that I finally made it to HpS. Unfortunately, I had to move back to Palm Bay Florida, where I did some severe studying in Coven Craft. When I arrived, I took a good look at the area around me, and the situation that is Brevard County. I was convinced that is was a veritable Dead Zone (No pun intended on one of my favorite shows) I had contact with my prior group in Ft. Lauderdale, and went down to help perform many a ritual, but, back then, in the state of Florida, things were bad for you if you were publicly known. In 1998 I found paradise. I moved to Huntington Beach California, where you did not have to hide. I found many friends out there and for almost 4 years I was in absolute paradise. But I did miss the natural magic of Florida. I joined a coven in Southern California that ended up becoming defunct. I learned how to be able to feel the natural magic's around me, and yes even the Fay, within a concrete jungle. In July of 2001 I moved Back to Florida for MCSE training. It is a little more tolerant of Wiccans, and occasionally, because of my necklace, Wiccans come up to me and we talk and exchange numbers/email addresses. Who knows, I might help form a coven here in Brevard County, for I believe this community is in bad need of a positive light on Wiccans/Pagans. It would be nice to get people together that believe in magic, and help them hone it. My grandmother was from Ulster county Ireland, and came to this country and married a Choctaw Indian in Oklahoma and had my mother and her sister. She practiced Witta, and my mother did as well. (Honestly there is a reason why I did some looking around for a good mesage board to rant like this, and I am getting to it.) And after she was out on her own, and my future father was done with his BA degree in the USAF, they meet. He was stationed in Ouahu. Funny story there really, he sat on a big rock that was in a Phallic shape to help them get with child, and well Im here now, so it worked...LOL. Anyway, He was sent off to Koria and that war and all that it entailed, but came back and then had my sister and brother (my sister died 5 years later and my brother was later proven impotent and had glasses) and that sums it up untill now. I recently lost my cat of 19 years on april 5th and on april 30th (you know it was Beltain) I turned 40. And 18 days after that I found out my Father died from Lukemia from Agent Orange that he sprayed in Korea (the same thing that affected my sister and brother. So know you know my story, get used to me, u will se a LOT of me. feel free to add me to your IM and talk. Its been rough for me I can tell you. OH and for the Wiccan aspect. I earned my HPS in Huntington beach in 98. Yes I know it took me for a while, I was solitare for a LONG time...but you know, all good things come to those who wait.
