We had a bon-fire Saturday night with my crazy family. None of us drink alcohol but it didn't matter - the sky was beautiful,coyote's were out howling & even though the moon wasn't full, it came up flame orange and made the pulse of the evening complete. (I'm a recovering alcoholic/drug addict - 21 yrs.straight & sober).
None of my family is wiccan/pagan, but the influence of our ancestors come through and whether they want to admit to it or not, the pagan practices show in many ways (the music, the fellowship, the fire, etc....). I sit and smile knowing that the family is more pagan then they would ever want to believe. But growing up Catholic & living in a town where there are at least 14 christian churches and only 4500 people, I tend to keep in the closet for the most part. It makes it hard sometimes, but I need to keep my job & I know without a doubt that my employers would find an excuse to let me go if they found out that I do not practice Christianity.
I will talk soon - I need to finish my homework & get some sleep.

I work full time & taking a Excel class at the community college PLUS babysit my grandson 2 nights a week, so I don't get to meet many pagans & wiccans.
