Daughter of the Moon

Almost two years ago I took a big step in changing my legal name from Ashley to Felia de Luna, which is the magickal name I'd attained at age 15. Some folks ask why I would do that, didn't I like who I was? My answer is that I love who I AM and who I am is what I believe. I wouldn't be anywhere in life if it weren't for my faith and I wanted to incorporate the name fully, not simply rid myself of a former image and title. I'm still the same old me and I LOVE ME! The first step to being loved is loving yourself and I'm fortunate to have that capability. Though I can't divulge how I received my name, I can tell you it's meaning. 'Felia' is Latin for "daughter" while 'de Luna' can be translated as "of the Moon". Daughter of the Moon
