Since I love to write, I was thinking about trying my hand at submitting short articles to different publications -- I can't make a living at it, but it will keep me busy, so that I won't drive my husband insane while I look for a steady job. Are you familiar with that publishing company Lewellyn (I'm sure I misspelled the name)? If I'm not mistaken, I think they put out planners or datebooks, something like that. I think they accept pieces for their planners, but I'm not sure -- I have to look over one of their planners to see. So I'm mulling over the idea of finding periodicals that accept material on Wicca -- not that I'm an expert or anything like that.

After deciding to ask everyone -- or almost everyone -- I knew if he knew of anyone who was hiring, a lady at the bank said, "We have openings right now." Rather suspiciously (because banks do not strike me as appetizing places to work. In fact, a person might go nuts after he sees all that money and is reminded of how much money he doesn't make), I asked her what positions were open. She said, "Bank teller." oh yeah -- as if I want a job where I'm free to smell lots of money, but that's as close as I come to enjoying it. Huh! I'll look a little harder for a more appealing job.

At 7:11pm on October 22, 2009, gin said…: Thanks, Hon...I've been looking through the e-forums for job hunters and people who have started their own side businesses (I haven't seen any job leads for "witches for hire," but who knows?). It makes me feel better to know I'm not the only one who has joined the ranks of the unemployed and that there is a lot of support for job hunters out there. Maybe I should start a support group entitled "witch for hire" on one of the social networks. What do you think?
